OUR VISION
The vision of the Communities Regeneration Project (CRP) is to be a center for research, learning, and teaching. We also are practicing carbon sequestration, durable climate resilience, environmental regeneration, and environmental justice. This can become a model and an island of hope in our time of increasing environmental, economic, and social chaos.

Why this project?
The Problem:
A foundational belief of the CRP is that our industrial/market economy, and the society that supports it are fundamentally unsustainable and that the problems created by climate heating, resource depletion, overall environmental degradation, and consumerism are leading our culture down a path toward environmental, economic, and societal collapse & chaos.

We at CRP see a path toward hope, It is a path that has driven us to explore different relationships with the earth and its forests and farmlands. We seek a different kind of society and economy - a path that steps away from domination and destruction of our natural world and fellow humans, and focuses on communion with the earth and each other.

And so we initiated a project that initially focuses locally - protecting local forests, restoring abused agricultural soil, increasing its food growing capacity, and demonstrating and teaching skills to accomplish these things.

In the future we will seek to expand our horizons, working to expand our knowledge and skills to build more complete regenerative communities, and give others the education and opportunity to join us.
