Fostering local shelter security

We have a full set of logging equipment and a saw mill on the main campus property and are experimenting with log and lumber production potential for future tiny dwelling communities and other uses of forest products.

Fostering local shelter security

Using the forest products:
With our sawmill we are experimenting with ways to better use our resources sustainably.  For example, locally obtained lumber is less wasteful of energy needed to ship resources around the world.  Most of the trees thinned out of the forest for fire mitigation reasons can be put to good use when large enough.
